Online cyber attacks against the country's vital and sensitive organizations

New Delhi : Defence Minister AK Antony in a written reply to Sajjan Verma in Lok Sabha today stated that, during the last 2-3 years, online cyber attacks against the country`s vital and sensitive organizations, including Defence organizations, have come to notice, which also involves usage of Computer Storage Media (CSM); As per the Intelligence Bureau (IB), no officer of foreign intelligence agencies is reported to be working in Indian defence system.

New Delhi : Beginning tomorrow (1st September 2012) India will be among the select few countries in the world to have stringent EMF( Electromagnetic Frequency) Radiation Standards, established in the interest of public health, for mobile towers and mobile handsets. Indian standards would now be 10 times more stringent than more than 90% countries in the world.

Over twenty thousand sim card cloning cases reported - Milind Deora

New Delhi: The mobile subscribers in the country are facing threat of SIM card cloning. Milind Deora, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology stated in Lok Sabha today.

He also gave Licence Service Area wise details of number of cases reported so far regarding SIM cloning - Gujarat 1, Delhi 18547, Karnataka 16, Mumbai 11, Punjab 1738.
