CAG has Constitutional Mandate to Audit Private Firms - Shashi Kant Sharma

New Delhi: The recent ruling of the Honorable Supreme Court is a landmark one and has removed, once for all, the doubts on the constitutional mandate to audit private firms by the CAG so far as it relates to revenue sharing with the Government. Our long time stand, that an entity using public resources in its business and sharing revenue with the Government can be audited by the CAG, has been vindicated by the Honorable Supreme Court.

(LATA) of the U.S.A. have signed an MOU for launching the state of the art training programs on Cyber Security, Risk And Crisis Management, Public Safety and Disaster Management, Homeland Security/ Critical Infrastructure Protection, Security Operations Management, Industrial Security, Fire & Safety Management etc. This will bring to India the best US practices followed in security, which has been developed over a period of time.
