The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched a new SupTech initiative named “दक्ष (DAKSH) - Reserve Bank’s Advanced Supervisory Monitoring System”, aimed at strengthening supervisory processes and improving compliance monitoring in banks, NBFCs, and other supervised entities. The launch was announced by Shri Shaktikanta Das, Governor of RBI.

The term ‘दक्ष (DAKSH)’ translates to ‘efficient’ and ‘competent’, reflecting the capabilities of the application. DAKSH is a web-based end-to-end workflow system that enables the RBI to monitor compliance requirements in a focused manner, enhancing the overall compliance culture of supervised entities.

The system facilitates seamless communication, inspection planning and execution, cyber incident reporting and analysis, and the provision of various MIS reports. It provides a secure platform that allows anytime-anywhere access, leveraging technology and analytics to make supervisory processes more robust and efficient.
