Government denies Hacking of NSG Website

New Delhi: Reports in a section of the media state that the NSG Website has been hacked and some information on it has been stolen etc. There is no indication that NSG Website has been hacked. The Website does not contain any sensitive data. It is, in fact, meant for public use containing information of general nature that might be useful to the general public. The present Website is being revamped with the help of NIC to make it more useful and more secure following Government guidelines on the subject.

Mumbai: Being the World’s first full format TV show online, Jay Hind! has always made news for its pioneering efforts in the entertainment space. The show is hugely popular among Indians across the world and is nearing 100 million hits online. The growing popularity of the show led to the show’s website – Jayhind.tv being hacked by anti-India fundamentalists. The website went down after an attack by ‘Free Kashmir’ Islamic fundamentalists killed the original show links and posted their own subversive messages and pictures on the site’s homepage.

Govt to setup Center for Telecom testing and Security Certification

New Delhi: Government recently approved “Center for Telecom testing and Security Certification”, which was earlier a pilot project at IISc Bangalore, to be scaled up to a full-fledged center in due course of time, at estimated cost of Rs 60 Cr, out of which, Government funding may be to the tune of Rs 50 Cr.
