Osmanabad: On 15th Nov 2011 at 2 PM Osmanabad Setu Suvidha Kendra website www.osmanabadsetuonline.com was defaced by unknown hackers. Hackers had managed to post a message and a image on home page of the Citizen Services Portal which is built with Joomla, a Open Source Content Management System and hosted on shared Linux server in Dallas city of Texas state in US .
The portal developed and maintained by Rudranee Infotech Ltd. for District Administration is used to issue documents/certificates to citizens under single window scheme in Tahasil Offices.
A offence has been registered with Osmanabad City Police Station on 16th Nov under Sec 43(d)(e), 66, 70 IT (Amendment) Act 2008, upon complaint from Swapnil N. Chavan from Rudranee Infotech Ltd. Aurangabad. PI Ghadge is Investigating the case.
