Shri Shaktikanta Das, Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), today launched three key initiatives: PRAVAAH, the RBI Retail Direct Mobile App, and a FinTech Repository, in the presence of senior RBI officials, bank CEOs, and fintech representatives.

PRAVAAH Portal
The Platform for Regulatory Application, VAlidation and AutHorisation (PRAVAAH) is a secure, centralized portal allowing individuals and entities to apply online for RBI approvals, track application status, respond to queries, and receive decisions in a time-bound manner. Currently, it hosts 60 application forms across different regulatory departments. The portal is accessible at: https://pravaah.rbi.org.in
.

RBI Retail Direct Mobile App
The mobile app enhances access to the Retail Direct Scheme, launched in November 2021, enabling retail investors to open Gilt accounts and transact in government securities (G-Secs) on their smartphones. It is available on both the Play Store and App Store.

FinTech and EmTech Repositories
The FinTech Repository captures data on fintech entities, their technologies, and activities, while the EmTech Repository focuses on RBI-regulated entities’ adoption of emerging technologies like AI, ML, Cloud Computing, DLT, and Quantum technologies. Both repositories are managed by the RBI Innovation Hub (RBIH) and aim to provide sector-level insights and analytics. FinTechs and regulated entities are encouraged to contribute actively.
