New Delhi : Defence Minister AK Antony in a written reply to Sajjan Verma in Lok Sabha today stated that, during the last 2-3 years, online cyber attacks against the country`s vital and sensitive organizations, including Defence organizations, have come to notice, which also involves usage of Computer Storage Media (CSM); As per the Intelligence Bureau (IB), no officer of foreign intelligence agencies is reported to be working in Indian defence system.
He said, suitable directives to ensure Information Security are already in place and have been reiterated to all concerned for strict compliance. However, disclosure of details would not be appropriate in national interest, he added.
