New Delhi: Shri Jitendra Singh, Minister of State of Home Affairs in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today stated that "The Central Government, with regard to Central Intelligence and Security Agencies, keeps updating the internal SOPs/instructions for processing, executing and conducting oversight of interceptions of telephones. The Government constituted an Inter-Ministerial Group headed by Home Secretary to consider issues relating to institutional frame work of Government for interception of messages/tapping of telephones, e-mail etc.

New Delhi: The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has requested all Banks and Financial Institutions to follow the role-check process devised and published for the digital signatures (DSCs) belonging to authorized signatories of Banks/FIs recently in its e-Governance project MCA21. In a circular issued recently by the ministry it has been thrust upon that such precaution is very essential as these institutions has to carry out charge related services.
