Infosys Adopts IEEE Computer Society Software Development Certifications

Bengaluru: Infosys, a world leader in consulting and technology services, has adopted the IEEE Computer Society's Certified Software Development Associate (CSDA) and Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) certifications. Infosys will use the two credentials to enhance software development standards within the company.

TEMA refutes Booz & Co Report on Indian Telecom Manufacturing

New Delhi: The Telecom Equipment Manufacturer's Association (TEMA) of India has raised concern in a response to the recent report on the Indian 'Indian Telecom Equipment Manufacturing sector'. In a communication to the Minister of Communication & IT Kapil Sibal, TEMA has pointed out that the report is an attempt to polarize and paralyze the efforts of Government of India to incentivise the local innovation and manufacturing.

CBI alerts public against imposters and spoofed emails

New Delhi:Alerting the people through a public advisory issued on 11 May 2012, CBI says that Certain instances of some conmen/fraudsters posing as CBI officers / acquaintances of CBI officers and trying to extort money and / or favours from the general public / public servants have come to the notice of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Such imposters generally approach unsuspecting members of the public / public servants and offer to 'settle complaints/cases' in exchange for money or favours. They normally avoid showing any Identity Card.
