Mumbai : The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has today notified the regulation “Standards of Quality of Service (Duration of Advertisements in Television Channels) (Amendment) Regulations, 2013.
New Delhi : The Planning Commission and the National Innovation Council are organising the first ever Hackathon on the 12th Five Year Plan (2012-17) on 6th – 7thApril 2013. The Hackathon will invite citizens to innovatively communicate the Plan through creative visualizations and software applications.
New Delhi : The Copyright Rules, 2013 has been notified by the Copyright Division, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development on 14th March, 2013. The amendments to the existing provisions of the Copyright Act, 1957 and introduction of new provisions under the Copyright(Amendment) Act, 2012, which came into the force on 21st June, 2012, necessitated amendments to the Copyright Rules, 1958.

New Delhi : Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde made a statement in the Rajya Sabha today on the issue of unauthorisedly obtaining Call Data Records of Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Leader of Opposition. Shinde in his statement said that, in the case being investigated by the Delhi Police, there was an attempt at unauthorisedly trying to access the call data record i.e. details of numbers called and received and duration of the conversation. This was not a case of telephone tapping.
