New Delhi : Secretary, Telecom, Mrs Aruna Sundararajan said that Data Security is the paramount concern in the World today and India cannot remain secure in terms of data, unless it manufactures its own chips. She was speaking after unveiling of India’s first Indigenous Semiconductor Chips by Bengaluru based semiconductor company “SIGNALCHIP” for 4G/LTE and 5G NR MODEMs in New Delhi today.

New Delhi : The Vice President of India and the Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that India’s keen desire for peace and prosperity all across is its strength and can give a befitting reply to sponsors of disruptive terror designs as demonstrated by the hugely successful air strikes yesterday. He further said that the operations of Indian Air Force were pre-emptive in nature and in defence of peace and prosperity in the country.

Pan-India Emergency Number ‘112’ launched

New Delhi : The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh and Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt. Maneka  Sanjay Gandhi here today jointly launched the Women Safety initiative of Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) in 16 States/UTs and Mumbai city. People in these states and UTs can now call a single pan India number 112 for any emergency. In addition, Investigation Tracking System for Sexual Offences (ITSSO) and Safe City Implementation Monitoring Portal were also launched.

New Delhi : The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh has said cyber crimes pose a challenge to traditional policing and called upon the Police personnel to hone their skills to tackle the threats posed from the cyber world. Inaugurating the Cyber Prevention, Awareness & Detection Centre (CyPAD) of Delhi Police and National Cyber Forensic Lab, MHA here today, he pointed out that cyber crime has emerged as a big challenge and said, “If we have to build public trust in a Digital World, then we will have to bear Zero Tolerance towards Cyber Crime.”
